Incumbent should be a collaborative team player, comfortable with interacting and partnering with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Strong communication skills and organized.
Strongly preferred experience with Salesforce, Workday, and Microsoft Excel.
The Program Manager assists in the planning and organization of operational activities of a specific initiative within the organization, and assists in an oversight capacity for its daily operations. Working under direct supervision, this position helps establish key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the practice/medical group industry to measure program success, regularly assesses patient satisfaction levels, healthcare outcomes, and resource utilization, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in patient care.

Responsibilities
Supports the development of the strategic planning process for new healthcare programs, aligning them with the practice/medical group's mission of providing high-quality patient care, improving healthcare outcomes, and expanding service offerings to meet the needs of the patients.
Supports program staff, which includes physicians, nurses, and administrative personnel, fostering a cohesive and motivated team that actively collaborates to implement innovative medical treatments, patient care protocols, and operational improvements for respective sites.
Drafts program budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to critical areas such as medical equipment acquisition, staff training, and patient outreach initiatives, while consistently monitoring financial performance to meet program goals and maintain cost-effectiveness.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals from various specialties, hospital department heads, local health organizations, community leaders, and funding agencies, to forge partnerships that support the hospital/medical group's growth and improve patient health outcomes.
Oversees the successful execution of healthcare programs, which may include initiatives such as community health screenings, patient education workshops, disease management programs, and clinical research studies, while ensuring strict adherence to medical standards, safety protocols, and ethical considerations.
Provides regular updates to senior leadership, presenting program status reports, accomplishments, challenges, and potential solutions, and communicates program impact to internal stakeholders, such as medical staff, department heads, and external stakeholders to maintain transparency and engagement in the organization's healthcare initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview
Incumbent will be focused on non-clinical grant documentation management and maintaining non-clinical grant seeking resources. Some tasks to include:
- Identifies potential funding sources for approved Foundation and Cone Health programs and projects
- Distributes and tracks dissemination of prospective funding opportunities to Cone Health grant-seekers
- Maintains standard institutional information and statistics required for most grant applications and regularly works with Data Analytics, Finance and the CEO's office to obtain the latest information
- Responds to requests from Cone Health departments for suggestions on funding sources
- Makes presentations to Cone Health Grant Interest Group meetings.
- Maintains electronic grant files including copies of applications, contracts, agreements, payments and reports submitted that meet legal, auditing and foundation requirements.
- Manages reporting deadlines and gathers grant use information from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to fit reporting requirements of funding sources.
- Coordinates site visits from foundations and other funders.
- Generates standard and ad hoc grant activity reports for use by the Foundation and Cone Health stakeholders.
- Communicates with project leaders and accountants on the process for spending grant or restricted funds. Secures monthly activity reports from ERP on grant and restricted fund use.
- And other tasks as requested by Philanthropy leadership
