The Medical Supply Specialist (MSS) works to effectively promote products and services to referral sources and to the general public. The Medical Supply Specialist is responsible for identifying new markets and maintaining strong relationships with current referral sources. The MSS must have thorough product knowledge and understanding to effectively market to healthcare providers. They will also work on insurance contracts for their corresponding states in conjunction with the Sales Leaders effort. This position is full-time plus any additional time necessary to complete the functions of the CGM Medical Supply Specialist position.

Location

This position is full-time plus any additional time necessary to complete the functions of the CGM Medical Supply Specialist position.
Role Responsibilities
- Establish a sales plan that encompasses all referral sources for the entire service area of the organization.
- Conducts, participates in, and attends in-person educational meetings, seminars, and health fairs (or similar community activities) for referral sources, healthcare workers and the community at large.
- Maintains records of sales calls and follow-up made. Reports sales activities monthly to Sales Leader.
- Supports the organization by informing management of areas of concern and problems to be resolved.
- Participates in management activities as requested by upper management.
- Communicates to Sales Leader regularly on meeting and sales activities.
- Is aware of third party reimbursement responsibilities, equipment and services offered and necessary documentation.
- Maintains proper documentation for expenses and requested reimbursement on a monthly basis.
- Assists in developing a sales budget.
- Reviews advertising needs for the organization with upper management and updates the sales plan accordingly.
- Attends sales meetings.
- Adheres to company policies regarding compliance and confidentiality.
- In addition to the above, the responsibilities of this position include such other duties, tasks and activities as are customarily and traditionally associated with this position, or that may be assigned to this position from time to time.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3-5 years medical sales experience required. Preferably calling on Endos, PCP's and internal medicine offices.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of consistently hitting or overachieving on sales goals.
- Strong communications and analytics skills with experience navigating sales CRMs.
- Ability to leverage relationships with key decision makers within medical offices to drive growth.
- Able to function as a team member with a positive attitude.
- Good computer skills preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to handle multiple task with numerous interruptions.
- People sensitive personality with a desire to help others
- Able to prepare and submit reports.

Compensation Information
- Base: $65k-$70k
- Total Income First Year: $150k+
