Position Summary
Drawing business acumen, exemplary critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, the Product Manager is responsible for building and leading the technology product viewpoint while collaborating with peers to develop and ensure consistently high-quality delivery of technology capabilities that enable business value creation. You will lead a collaborative team that can work across the organization to develop an effective, transparent, cohesive, and high-quality backlog of new feature requests and enhancements. You demonstrate a passion for creating timely, reliable, and maintainable solutions and are known for being creative, innovative, open to new challenges, good at multi-tasking, a great team player, and self-directed.
This is an independent consultant role for a 1-year contract with the possibility of an extension. The consultant will be responsible for invoicing the CBA and will be responsible for filing their own taxes. Consultants interested in this opportunity are asked to submit a cover letter demonstrating how they meet the job requirements as well as a resume outlining relevant project work or work experiences.

Responsibilities
- Define and develop the product strategy to drive targeted business outcomes in alignment with CBA strategies
- Own relationships with key customers; understand the industry, interpret the voice of the customer and end-user inputs, and proactively define strategy and vision
- Identify market opportunities and build business cases, including financial aspects.
- Implement product management continuous improvement policies, standards, and processes
- Address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs
- Define, analyse, and manage metrics that inform the success of products
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in a technology-focused business degree, such as Management Information Systems, or a technology-focused MBA
- Industry experience as a capability owner/manager within a technology environment, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex products or services.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing winning technology strategies within a large, complex organization
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- A passion for data, with great quantitative skills; fully comfortable with financial and operational metrics and analyses
- Excellent communication, relationship, and engagement skills
- Focus on the customer; able to celebrate the success of others in the business
