What are the primary responsibilities in the Industrial Security Specialist position?
Program Security Support to include:Perform duties related to the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO) Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO)/Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO). Full understanding of applicable Government manuals (NISPOM, ICD's, DoD Security Manuals, etc.) Participates in the administration and coordination of multiple security programs/activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Identifies program issues and implements corrective actions to identified security problems as directed. Conducts security briefings and maintains security education programs. Works closely with Program Management to identify security requirements and vulnerabilities. Reviews security program requirements for efficiency and standardization. Acts as a liaison with government agencies / organizations to ensure contract security compliance. Participates in preparation of security proposals. Participates in planning and preparations of new security programs. Partners with various government agencies to ensure corporation is compliant with directives and regulations and obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Organizes, coordinates, executes, and interprets required research to achieve stated security goals, including furthering the industrial security discipline within the organization. Investigates security incidents and violations relating to classified programs. Implements corrective actions to identified problems. Ensures accuracy of security databases. Assists in all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Develops, implements and manages programs across the company including off-sites. Assist with local security training Provide local Visitor Control and meeting support Create, scan, maintain, and organize security documentation, tracking, and database information Coordinate local security needs, support, and requirements with the RRC security team Physical Security Support to include:Maintain Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) to include: programming, testing, coordinating, user training, and response Maintain Access Control Systems (ACS) to include: badging, reports, user training, and maintenance Assist with building camera systems, monitoring, intercoms, and guard coordination Assist with Physical Security inspections, testing, and construction Assist with Physical Security Documentation and approvals Escorting personnel in secure areas Technical/Computer Security Support to include:Data Transfers Media Registration and Control Security Help Desk POC to include: reviewing, approving, and assigning tickets Assisting Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) with verifying compliance and continuous monitoring Media Destruction

What required background will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience with at least 3-5 years of experience working in Industrial Security.
- Must have a current favorably adjudicated T5 / T5R and eligibility for a TS//SCI clearance.
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
Preferred skills:
- Experience supporting SCI security programs.
- Experience supporting SAP security programs.
- Experience as a Facility Security Officer.
- Prior industrial security experience in aerospace or related industry.
- Professional Certification in Industrial Security.
- Ability to climb a 10-foot ladder to perform Physical security checks.
