Starting Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000/year - depending on experienceLocation: Lynnwood, WAClassification: ExemptMust be eligible to work in the U.S. - Sponsorship not available General Position Summary : Responsible for managing all technicians. Includes safety, policies, procedures, staffing, and career development of all technicians. Manage multiple, specialized, fast-track mechanical Service Agreements, service projects, and Quick Response efforts through effective communications, negotiations, estimating, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Responsible for achievement of the annual MSG Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as assigned. Essential Job Functions :Client Relations:
Develop and maintain client relations. Respond to customer service issues and resolution along with conducting root cause analysis for permanent remedy. Establish and cultivate customer-oriented culture and deliver best in class customer experience. Administration:
Lead the Service team in the effort to deliver quality and profitable Work Orders (all Service Agreements, projects, and Quick Response deliverables). Collaborate and provide input into the Service business plan as influenced by market conditions. Collaborates with Service Leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on Service Agreements, Quick Response, projects, accounts, and systems. Ensures that departmental decisions for accounts and project plans, such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision. Provide proactive, clear, and timely communication to all UMC team members.

Supervise, train, and mentor all those who are in your reporting structure. Conduct at a minimum quarterly and annual reviews and set goals for each year. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust training program for all technicians'. Identify, recommend, document, and implement new and modified processes, procedures, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline technicians' processes and use of resources and materials. Ensure budgets (specifically including hours) are established, tracked, and reported for all Service Agreements (SA), Quick Response (QR), and Recommended Repairs (RR) Work Orders. Establishes, communicates, documents, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. Support the development and implementation of a QA/QC program. Collaborates with the Account Specialist to deliver month Stand and Deliver reports by account. Recruit, hire and train new team members. Review all service agreements, contracts, contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications to ensure our contractual obligations are met. Responsible for Technician labor assignments for all Service Agreements. Implement and manage the zone logistics plan. Manage the Service fleet. Responsible for all "Vehicle Warehouse" processes and procedures. Be knowledgeable about all purchases for all Work Order. Collaborate all parts, supplies, materials, equipment, consumables, tools, and stock for Work Orders, and fleet "vehicle warehouses." The Field Manager is responsible for purchasing all "vehicle warehouse" stock, small tools, specialty tools, and consumables. Dispatch is responsible for ordering all parts, supplies, materials, and third-party rentals that are delivered directly to the customer location(s). The Account Specialist Manager is responsible for ordering materials for the monthly Service Agreement visits. The Project Manager(s) are responsible for ordering equipment (non-rentals). Equipment is generally defined as plumbing fixtures, rotating/powered equipment (i.e. Pumps and fans), tanks, and pressure vessels. The Field Manager is responsible for the technical review of all agreements. Both the Field Manager and the Account Specialist are responsible and will have reviewed and be knowledgeable of the interview forms integrated into the technical review and final proposals to the client. This role will require North Boundary software training. The Field Manager is responsible for reviewing estimates out of North Boundary and ensure their accuracy. The Field Manager should review the agreements with technicians, Account Specialist and Operations to discuss and agree on strategies for account success. Technicians will be quoting recommended repairs from the Customer location. Financial:
Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for all Work Orders. Oversee the assigned KPIs. Responsible for labor rate crew mix for all accounts and Work Orders. Secondary Job Functions :
Weekly 1:1 meeting(s) with Field Leads. Review and approve timecards and productivity reports. Review and approve time off. Participate in industry and client social networking events to market and promote UMC in the marketplace. Motivate all team members to identify potential new work opportunities.
Skills Required to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job :
Extensive mechanical knowledge with a minimum of five (5) years of mechanical service industry experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong Computer Skills. Ability to effectively organize and plan daily & long-term responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibility : Manage Service HVAC Technicians and Service Plumbers. Education/ Experience Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job :
Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or, A minimum of 5 years mechanical service management experience.
Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required :
Submit to & pass a Background Check. Submit to & pass a drug screen including random testing. Maintain a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
