We're seeking an experienced Manager of RFP to establish and lead Gong's RFP function. As the first hire in this critical role, you'll develop a comprehensive strategy to position Gong as the vendor of choice in every opportunity. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in RFP management and cross-functional collaboration. You'll develop processes and best practices to win RFP cycles, while leveraging insights to drive product development and go-to-market strategies. RESPONSIBILITIES
The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,350 - $157,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and lead Gong's RFP Management function, developing processes, tools, and best practices
- Drive Gong's success in RFP cycles, positioning us as the vendor of choice and taking the lead in the buying process
- Build and manage a high-performing RFP team as the function grows
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, marketing, and other GTM teams to ensure alignment and leverage RFP insights
- Analyze RFP trends to inform product development, competitive positioning, and go-to-market strategies
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive RFP content library, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Create and implement metrics to measure RFP success rates and impact on revenue
- Partner with sales leadership to strategize on high-value RFP opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex or strategic RFPs
- Continuously improve RFP processes to increase efficiency and win rates
- 8+ years of experience in RFP management, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology companies
- Proven track record of building and leading successful RFP teams
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, revenue operations, and the sales technology landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
- Experience with RFP automation tools and content management systems
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from RFP data and market trends
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple RFPs simultaneously
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams
- Knowledge of revenue intelligence, conversation intelligence, or sales enablement technologies preferred
- Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in sales technology
- Familiarity with competitive intelligence practices
