Summary:
The Population Health Medical Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing population health strategies that enhance the quality of care, reduce healthcare costs, and address health disparities within the Value Based Contracts of Baptist Health. The Medical Director will work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, and others and execute programs that address social determinants of health, chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient engagement.

Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
Licensed to practice medicine in Arkansas.
At least 5 years of clinical experience, with a focus on population health, preventive care, or chronic disease management.
Strong understanding of healthcare data analytics, clinical informatics, quality improvement, and care coordination..
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Commitment to health equity and addressing social determinants of health.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with value-based care models or accountable care organizations (ACOs).
Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems, especially Epic.
Working Conditions:
Office-based with occasional travel to clinical sites and community locations.
Full-time position with potential clinical care duties
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
