Job Summary of Director of Business Development / Sales:
The Director of Business Development will take the necessary action to attain sales objectives and grow UMS business within a defined region. This will include all current urology service lines; shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), laser lithotripsy (URS), and MR fusion biopsy service. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment.
Qualifications/Skills of Director of Business Development / Sales:
BA/BS in a related field of study with at least 5 years of successful sales experience in medical devices, medical products, or medical mobile services business with special emphasis in Urology,
Mobile medical lithotripsy, urology or laser experience preferred
Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies along with tracking market trend information
Knowledge of hospital purchasing and decision-making procedures
Strong experience in sales with experience with joint ventures and partnership's structure
Must be able to travel and maintain an active field schedule
Special Work Requirements of Director of Business Development / Sales:
Position requires 50-75% travel
