Position Details:
Title: Sales Representative
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: M-F. Flexible once through training. Typical day in first 6 months is 7am - 4pm
Compensation: $100k - $125k on target first year. Year two, +$140k. Existing sales team is in $150k - +$250k range. Base is $85k while in training during the first 6 months. Switch to commissions when it makes sense: base is $65k + tiered commissions of 3%, 6%, 9% of GM + $1,500/mo car allowance (+ fuel card w/personal use). Commissions are based on gross margin of sales and % of comms is based on 4-tiered performance criteria (red, yellow, green, super green).

Position Description: Supplies subcontractors for big commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, etc. The types of building materials they distribute are used by subcontractors to "keep the weather out and the good air in". You will be the face of company and getting these products into the hands of subcontractors and other customers.
Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, understand their needs and provide personalized solutions.
Negotiate sales terms and pricing, address objections and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Close sales and secure orders or contracts, guiding prospects through the sales process.
Effectively manage location, organize sales visits and optimize travel routes.
Maintain accurate sales records, report to management, and contribute to sales forecasting.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions through market research and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams, provide feedback, communicate customer requirements, and contribute to sales strategies.
Pursue continuous learning and professional development in product knowledge, sales skills, and industry expertise.
