Purpose of Position: The Risk Manager will serve as a leader for the Risk area of the Credit Union, working closely and coordinating efforts within department and team across all business lines. This role is responsible for facilitating the risk program through continued monitoring, analytics, and reporting of key risk indicators (KRI's), risk limits and risk triggers to various stakeholders, including (but not limited to): business unit leaders and the Executive Leadership Team. In addition, this role is responsible to lead the risk projects, including identification, assessment and mitigation of risks and overall management of timelines and deliverables. Additionally, this role will be key in the coordination, review, and implementation plan overview of risk and product implementations.
Minimum Formal Education: Four-year Business Degree required.
Experience: Five (5) or more years financial institution experience required. Minimum four years (4) experience in a risk focus capacity (risk management, ERM, operations, audit, and/or compliance) or related field or similar experience required.
Other Requirements: Must be bondable; ERM/Risk Management or similar certification preferred.
