The Chief Global Officer for Online Expansion, Innovation and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic growth of our fully online degree programs and short-term and long-term stackable certificates. This role will encompass the Global Online Programs, VU Technical College, Graduate Center of NY, VUU Africa, and Universidad de Virginia Union. It offers a unique opportunity to lead the global expansion of our online education programs, working with diverse institutions and partners. The leader will be responsible for implementing innovative educational strategies and partnerships that enhance access and quality in online learning and improve student satisfaction, retention, persistence, and graduation rates.

Key Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic growth plan for online program expansion across all affiliated institutions.
- Collaborate with the President and academic leadership to align online initiatives with institutional goals.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with external organizations, academic institutions, and industry leaders to enhance program offerings and accessibility.
- Work in concert with admissions and other administrative offices to streamline processes and foster a supportive environment for online learners.
- Our focus on student satisfaction is unwavering. We will implement strategies to improve the quality of the student experience in online programs, focusing on key areas such as academic support, technology utilization, and community engagement. This commitment to student success is at the heart of our mission.
- Monitor and assess student feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance student satisfaction, persistence, and retention.
- Establish and oversee quality assurance measures for online programs, including pursuing online certifications through the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).
- Pursue International Accreditations, i.e., National Accreditation and Equivalency Council of the Bahamas (NAECOB).
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and best practices in online education.
- Stay abreast of online education and technology trends to innovate and enhance program delivery continually.
- Promote the integration of cutting-edge e-learning tools to facilitate engaging and effective online learning experiences.
- Utilize data analytics to assess program performance, student success metrics, and retention rates.
- Prepare regular reports for the President and Board on program developments, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in education, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education administration, focusing on online education and program development.
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes and online quality assurance measures
- Physical capability to lift 15 pounds, walk, run, squat, and bend.
