BlueHalo is growing, and we are seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting., who will work as part of a team driving accounting excellence and standardized accounting practices to be in compliance with all Federal Accounting Standards, across all BlueHalo businesses This would include implementing efficiencies where applicable, with a focus on accounting compliance regarding federal contracts. The position is responsible for supporting financial statement consolidation, reporting, analysis, and ad hoc Accounting projects. The role will support standardizing and documenting processes, supporting internal controls, and working with Accounting and FP&A leadership on various initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Able to manage and support spe
- Take a leading role supporting financial consolidation and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Standardize and improve reporting processes related to required disclosures for public financial statements and footnotes.
- Support financial reporting system implementations.
- Gather and compile data to support audits and other filings.
- Works with other departments to provide guidance and resolve issues.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, public experience preferred.
- Experienced in handling complex organizational structures in a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience with Onestream supporting a financial close and financial statement analysis.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing financial statements and supporting quarterly reporting requirements (e.g. balance sheet fluxes, MD&A support, etc.)
- Experience with internal re-organizations and working through impacts on financial reporting
- Ability to meet financial reporting deadlines and time sensitive Ad hoc requests.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Excel and ability to manage large databases.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Excellent communicator and organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with UNANET a plus.
- Prefer 6+ yrs. of leadership skills in a corporate setting
