Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead (Client Success) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives for assigned territories and product lines. Reporting directly to the CEO, and eventually to the VP of Sales in the future. You will play a key role in managing lead generation, pipeline development, sales funnel optimization, and contracting processes. Additionally, you will represent VersaBadge at conferences, establish and nurture relationships with clients and channel partners, and cultivate referrals to drive business growth.
This non-traditional role demands a multi-faceted approach, where you'll be instrumental in driving sales and marketing initiatives, primarily focusing on new, adjacent markets such as post-acute care settings.

Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute revenue centric sales and marketing tailored for post-acute care settings to surpass revenue targets, showcasing your ability to drive tangible results and exceed expectations.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets for assigned territories and product lines.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and other team members to manage lead generation, pipeline development, and sales funnel optimization.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote VersaBadge products and services and establish brand presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage the contracting process, including negotiation, proposal development, and contract execution.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the CEO to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation strategies, and sales funnel management.
- Healthcare technology experience is a plus (e.g. RTLS, nurse call systems, elopement monitoring, hand hygiene compliance, access control, EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize competing demands.
- Highly motivated with great organizational and time management skills and an ability to drive results in a largely autonomous, remote capacity.
- Experience in the identification/access control industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to attend conferences and client meetings.
