Job Summary:

• The Director of Physician Engagement is responsible for physician recruitment, development, and engagement; and plays an active role in the strategic growth of the organization. This role will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and provide leadership in all facets of their work and will interact with people at all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management and leads practice engagement strategy and performance plans.
• Establish regular communication, contact, and visits to provider sites. Visits may include, regular quarterly meetings, staff education, provider orientation, aligning strategic partnerships, and implementing new products, services, and protocols.
• Supervises, guides, and develops the team and staff.
• Facilitate and coordinate the development of roadmaps for physician practices to meet established quality, engagement, and performance measures for value-based programs.
• Develop and propose recommendations to the team for performance improvement, in conjunction with internal and external subject matter experts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Management or supervisory experience
• Solid understanding of the healthcare industry, and a comprehensive knowledge of medical office flow.
• Knowledge of healthcare practice management systems, electronic medical records, and/or billing systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create and present effective and persuasive presentations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
