Job Description
The developer will be part of a dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team.
Hands-on experience in Texas state agency or CAPPS system preferred.
The core duties include analyzing and modifying system codes and creating technical design documents to meet batch processes and interface requirements. In addition, troubleshooting and debugging system issues as needed.
Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team with collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Also, must be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Job Description

- 8 years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
- 8 years of experience in developing in PeopleCode and Application Packages
- 8 years of experience in developing Application Engine, COBOL, and SQR programs
- 8 years of experience developing Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
- 8 years of experience in advanced SQL and PL/SQL
- 8 years of experience with RHEL OS Scripting
- 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c+
- 8 years of experience in development BI Publisher Reports and PS Queries
- 8 years of experience working with AWE
- 8 years of experience analyzing functional design requirements
- 8 years of experience creating technical design documents
- 8 years of experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
- 8 years of experience working with SharePoint Lists
- 4 years of experience in working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- 2 years of experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS HCM system
- 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor
- 2 years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- 2 years of experience with SharePoint
- 1 year of experience with Jira
- 1 year of experience working with the Scrum framework
