The Sr. Brand Manager needs to be a high energy, number-loving, meticulous, results-oriented, self-motivated individual. This role will be integral to bringing our vision to life of changing the way the world drinks.
The lead will partner with the global, Canadian leadership team, US eCommerce team, sales, finance and operations to establish and implement a marketing and eCommerce strategy and growth plan, including a perspective on Media, Branding, eTailer, Pureplays, Merchandising, Supply Chain/Logistics and Operations. This split role will help to establish strategy for marketing through strong media and consumer knowledge, robust product knowledge and Go-To-Market understanding while helping to manage the IAT.
On eCommerce, the leader will foster strong relationships in marketing, sales & operations. They will also collaborate with retail partners and ecommerce business to reimagine, establish, and embed consumer centric operations into ongoing business and its evolution. Using strong analytical, communication, and business oversight skills to solve problems on a national scale and deliver proactive, insightful analysis, they will identify and implement creative, transformative approaches to business that exceed consumer expectations. You are a master at A/B testing, increasing conversion rates, and using data to generate actionable insights to drive sales.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating & crafting annual brand plans to deliver business & brand goals, aligning with overall organization's objectives.
Leading the media strategy in sync with overarching marketing goals and identifying target audiences while pinpointing the optimal media channels to engage with them effectively.
Collaborating with both the local agency and headquarters to define creative strategy & subsequently build assets tailored to the market, aligning seamlessly with overarching marketing objectives.
Develop the overall product strategy for flavours, bottles & accessories portfolio, aligned with the organization's business goals.
Develop Go-To-Market strategy to launch innovation working closely with cross-functional teams, including HQ, sales strategy, design, supply chain, demand planning & sales.
Portfolio management & optimization based on market feedback & performance to maximize revenue & profitability.
Working closely with HQ & flavours global team to understand the market trends to fill portfolio gaps; partnering with Masterbrand teams to understand portfolio & cross-promotion opportunities.
Make strategic data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI (for example - MMM)
Collaborate closely with the Amazon Account Lead to develop a comprehensive marketing calendar employing a full-funnel approach, ensuring alignment with the product portfolio, major sales events, and marketing campaigns.
Liaise with Agency to manage the Amazon Paid Search campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, to maximize visibility and sales on the platform.
Implement effective retargeting strategies aimed at re-engaging and converting potential customers who have previously interacted with our products on Amazon's platform.
Devise an exhaustive marketing strategy for D2C by partnering closely with the HQ on Search & Social campaigns aligned with the promo calendar, innovation launches, communication objectives, and brand initiatives to ensure consistency in messaging and promotional efforts across the funnel.
Collaborate with HQ to develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aimed at improving organic visibility and driving qualified traffic to the D2C website.
Leverage tools such as Rakuten Affiliate Marketing to drive new sources of growth.
Collaborate closely with the NAMs & Shopper Marketing Team to develop digital programs tailored to enhance the online shopping experience, drive awareness & sales for retailer.ca partners.
Provide actionable insights & analytics, facilitating optimization of the marketing strategy to achieve maximum effectiveness and ROI; Develop & maintain dashboards across Amazon, D2C, and retailer.ca.
Requirements
7+ years in Marketing managing campaigns, brands and product
7+ years in a similar role managing eCommerce platforms through DTC, Pureplay and Retailer.ca
Highly organized, data driven, understands commercial operations, able to deal well with peaks and manage multiple relationships locally and globally
Understanding of local retailer/retailer.ca landscape; small appliance experience a plus
Comfortable leading a network of agencies, internal & external stakeholders.
Proven success of gleaning insights and developing them into strategy.
