Challenging Projects:

As a Training Specialist at JCTM, you will have the opportunity to deliver impactful IT training to support personnel around the world. You will develop curriculum and conduct classroom courses, workshops, and seminars designed to enhance their ability to provide IT support in consular and other governmental sections. By creating interactive simulations and ensuring that all training materials meet high instructional standards, you will contribute to the ongoing success of mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver IT-related training programs through classroom instruction, workshops, and seminars.
  • Coordinate domestic and international training schedules, working closely with remote support teams and management.
  • Develop engaging course materials, including storyboards, simulations, and knowledge assessments.
  • Maintain and update training documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with 508 accessibility standards.
  • Support learners through various communication channels, including online portals, emails, and direct messages.
  • Assist in developing computer images, custom scripts, and other technical resources for classroom environments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and track training metrics to meet program objectives.
  • Provide feedback to the Training Manager and Contractor Program Manager on continuous improvement areas.

State-of-the-Art Technology: Expand your expertise with the latest technologies, including multimedia development tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate. You'll also gain hands-on experience with webinar software such as MS Teams, Zoom, and Webex, as well as productivity tools like Microsoft 365.

New Skills: Collaborate with a dynamic team of IT professionals, enhancing your knowledge of instructional systems design, multimedia development, and agile methodologies. You'll have the chance to master tools like ServiceNow and Salesforce, preparing you for future leadership roles in training and development.

You Have:
  • SECRET Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, education, business administration or management information sciences OR IT Certifications like MS-MCT, CompTIA CTT+, SAFe, or CompTIA A+.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in technical training.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of instructional systems design and hands-on experience with multimedia development tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 productivity tools and webinar software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and set up training environments, including the movement of equipment and cables.

Nice to Haves:
  • Prior experience using applications like ServiceNow and Salesforce.
  • Experience with international travel and training delivery in remote environments.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A SECRET clearance is required.
