Main purpose of the role:
Operate efficiently and properly the ships operating under the lines of their responsibility and manage the monitoring and control of relative operation expenses.
Main Tasks:

, Chief Office or Master Mariner certificate and experience.
Experience and knowledge of the routine operation on container vessels.
Thorough knowledge of the rules and regulations of international shipping.
Control of office tools, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular
High control of English language (Speaking, reading and writing)
Main purpose of the role:
Operate efficiently and properly the ships operating under the lines of their responsibility and manage the monitoring and control of relative operation expenses.
Main Tasks:
- Implement operations policies and guidelines within the regional operation and amongst the fleet of PABU ships
- As per BU Operations Director instructions: cooperation with Vessel's Planning Office and based on Line's requirements.
- Coordinating relevant ZIM departments, the lease the vessel: Checking, Issuing request for MGMT approval.
- Manage the port restrictions in the lines of their responsibility, including guidelines to the ships and their owners
- Assist in drafting & implementing JWP with partners.
- Control of costs and operational expenses, in order to reduce operational expenses, with collaboration of the BU manager and the line managers.
- Assist Line Managers in maximizing the vessel in conjunction with Planning Department Monitoring and control of vessel and port performance (Ship's voyage performance report)
- Supervision of vessels performance according to the governing charter party
- Supervision of vessels command including sailing voyage reports and procedures
- Monitoring expenses in port and sea while maintaining a strict watch on exceptions.
- Responsible for controlling service bunkers in various ports.
- Fuel control (Ship's voyage bunker report)
- Manage randomly fuel inspections
- Control of scheduling
- Monitor & follow feeders schedule integrity
- Implementation and performance of operation's KPIs
- Coordinate scheduling according to weather conditions
- Sailing instructions
- Manage scheduling for ships maintenance control and repairs
- Coordinate & monitor DG/RF & OOG on partners & feeders
- Coordinate maintenance of reefers
- Coordinate scheduling according to weather conditions
- Interface with central operations
- Interface with other shipping companies, partners and ship owners
