Summary: Lead sales and marketing efforts. Determine and meet sales quotas and goals, create sales plans, analyze data, and work within a team in accordance to the HDG vision, mission and core values.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Meet or exceed set goals: activity, productivity (revenue consumption) and booking goals
- Initiate and follow up on all leads for the hotels in all market segments/territory through the brand, management company and other third-party resources
- Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program, to include a significant amount of daily schedule engaged in direct sales calls in the local market. May be required to travel to location, transport materials and make presentations on short notice
- Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market
- Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies of the trace system in the sales automation system
- Be familiar with all sales policies and selling techniques with an emphasis on maximizing Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR.)
- Have full working knowledge of sales automation system, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space and building accounts
- Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Housekeeping
- Conduct a professional, thorough site inspection of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the hotel
- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Participate as a team player with other key leaders and demonstrate hospitable behavior as a role model for all other team members Requirements:
