Currently we are looking for a PMO Manager who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management methodologies and project delivery governance, managing projects as needed, and managing a team of project managers. This position sits under Corporate Technology, our internal IT department responsible for our critical infrastructure and systems.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

Currently we are looking for a PMO Manager who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management methodologies and project delivery governance, managing projects as needed, and managing a team of project managers. This position sits under Corporate Technology, our internal IT department responsible for our critical infrastructure and systems.
Your tasks will include:
- Implement and maintain project management methodologies, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and effective project execution.
- Oversee project governance ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track the progress of the project portfolio, identifying risks or issues and taking necessary actions to mitigate them.
- Handle Corporate Technology PMO reporting, providing regular updates and insights to the Corporate Technology leadership team
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to project managers and other team members to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, and documentation to support project delivery
- Continuously evaluate and improve the PMO's processes, tools, and practices to enhance overall project management capabilities within the organization.
- Take on to directly manage smaller projects if there is a need, assuming about 50% of their time
- Manage a small team of project managers and contractor project managers
- CRM (SFDC), Marketing Automation, QTC, ERP, ServiceNow, and other enterprise platforms
- Tableau or other BI Tools to query and analyze data
- JIRA, Monday.com, and other project management tools
- MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Confluence
- Bachelor's Degree required, strong preference for technical fields
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of the company's technology environment and its systems.
- Good understanding of system architecture, software design principles, and how various components of a system interact.
- Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development.
- Experience with software deployment and integration.
- Certified knowledge of project management.
- Ability to balance competing needs and interests.
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment.
- Experience with conflict management and resolution.
- Ability to lead by example and manage by influence.
- Business and commercial acumen.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Data assimilation to optimize decision-making.
- Experience with vendor relationship and management
- Technical program management
- 5+ years of technical program management experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Preference for candidates with relevant experience in IT and business applications management at a technology company
- Project Management, PMP certified
- Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well with a culturally diverse team
- Ability to stay well-organized and work under pressure
