JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a FP&A Sr. Analyst to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for executing all forecasting and variance analysis, in addition to supporting key cross-functional partners, as follows:
Executing on forecast and variance analysis processes, focusing primarily on topline, while assisting with operating expenses
Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on analyses and being main point of contact for decision support
o Deal cost spines
o New product innovation
o Topline Forecasting & Analysis
Partnering with Accounting/Control on revenue processes and recognition
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the monthly forecast submission, including analyzing monthly results vs. forecast, prior year, and budget.
Partner with the Sales team to understand business drivers and shortfall in performance.
Support the FP&A Manager in creating the annual Budget and Sales Targets.
Analyze new product innovation and business opportunities to determine profitability.
Participate in creation/brainstorming of new reporting tools for Sales team to utilize to improve overall performance.
Manage the trade spend submissions for actuals and forecast.
Update packaging details across new products and innovation.
Daily Sales Reporting.
Leverage Excel and Business Intelligence tools to generate, manipulate and summarize data into Daily, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting packages.
Evaluate ways to utilize our technology to automate processes and reporting.
Partner with team members and department leaders to analyze processes, manage programs, and build efficient reports that produce key insights into our work and can help the operations and finance teams make decisions.
Load monthly revenue adjustments during month end close.
Perform monthly margin analysis following close.
Partner with FP&A Manager to streamline cost forecast and improve forecast accuracy.
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Marketing business partners to improve processes, find efficiencies, and provide more accurate projections in-month.
Partner with Accounting team to understand processes in order to provide answers to stakeholders with agility.
Serve as expert on revenue processes and recognition and provide ad hoc explanations and analysis as needed.
Prepare and develop deal sheets for all sales programs in accordance with corporate gross margin and operating profit requirements. Obtain and track necessary approvals and reconcile results versus approved deal sheets.
Complete special financial, administrative, and ad hoc projects upon request.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA a plus.
Minimum of four to six years related Accounting and Finance experience.
Advanced excel user, proficiency in computerized accounting applications.
Prior ERP systems (especially Oracle, NetSuite, Cognos) experience preferred.
Very organized with excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
Skill in working on multiple tasks and projects concurrently and in ensuring coordination and integration among related efforts requiring attention to detail in planning and scheduling.
Excellent communicator and facilitator. Dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal, persuasion and facilitation skills with people of various levels, backgrounds and personalities. Need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated passion for personal continuous learning and continuous improvement required.
