About the Role
Watlow is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to be a part of our IT development team in St. Louis. This role is key as we evolve our in-house capabilities and establish a strong foundation for future growth. You will lead the development of robust, scalable applications and services, working closely with a team that includes both in-house and offshore developers. This requires a professional who can take charge, bring clarity to our development processes, and guide the team toward high standards of coding and delivery. The position is located in St. Louis, MO with a remote/hybrid schedule possibility.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications using technologies such as C#, MS SQL, and modern web frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and offshore development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Drive the implementation of Agile and DevOps practices as we mature our IT capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, instilling best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools that align with our strategic goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our IT strategy, including technology stack selection, methodologies, and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 5-7 years of business analyst experience focused on HR processes and HCM systems
- Must be able to travel 10% (estimated)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong foundation in C# and MS SQL.
- Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps or DevSecOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and work seamlessly with both in-house and offshore teams..
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building and leading development teams from the ground up.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern development practices.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
