Talent acquisition advisor (Toronto)

We're looking for our first recruiter to join our new Toronto office! As a talent-acquisition expert, you'll be in charge of the entire hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding. You'll participate in various recruitment activities to raise Vooban's profile and visibility.

Pssst: Please note that you must be able to travel to our new Toronto offices on a regular basis in order to meet candidates in person and forge strong ties with this brand new team you'll be building! We look forward to meeting you and celebrating your successes!

More specifically, your tasks will be :

• Working with the acquisition team, manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to offer.
• Scout out the best talent, mainly for marketing, pre-sales and sales positions, and find the best position for them.
• Work with managers to define and prioritize recruitment needs.
• Coordinate the entire selection process and participate in it.
• Participate in recruitment and PR events.
• Ensuring a warm welcome and smooth integration for our recruits.
• Participate in maintaining and improving the recruitment strategy.
• Be committed to our processes' evolution and vitality and maintaining a high-quality ATS.

• You have experience in recruiting for professional-level positions in companies that provide services.
• You know the T.I. #techie #geek scene? Even better!
• You have 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• You have experience as a generalist? That's a great asset, because you'll work with the Quebec-based HR department to keep the Toronto office running!
• You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• You know your place is in recruitment, and you're a nut about everything that revolves around it.
• You're known for your excellent communication and persuasion skills, but also for your repartee and interest in lively discussion. Your selling skills make everyone want to work at Vooban, but you have the flair to choose only the best.
• You've got so many soft skills you don't know what to do with them anymore: you know how to build strong relationships, listen, inspire and earn trust.
