Description:
Reporting directly to the HUB faculty leads, the Program Manager will oversee the coordination and maintenance of all HUB activities. Responsibilities include accounting, communications, website management, administrating national databases, managing the opportunity fund, and overseeing proposal reviews. The Program Manager will work closely with PIs to ensure smooth operations and efficient utilization of resources, maintaining diligent oversight of the HUB's progress and finances. This role involves substantial responsibility in managing and disbursing funds across institutions, ensuring proper resource allocation, and optimizing funding utilization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the HUB, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization. Maintain diligent oversight of the coordinating center's progress and finances. Financial Management: Handle accounting activities, ensuring responsible disbursement and recording of funds. Manage payment processes across multiple institutions. Communications & Website Management: HUB Program Manager- Administer the HUB Opportunity Fund, including application processes and applicant communication. Collaborate with HUB faculty leadership to prepare and submit annual reports to NIBIB program staff, detailing the opportunity fund application process, applicant demographics, review criteria, and selection process. Maintain and update the HUB website, keeping all information current and accessible. Develop and manage communication strategies to ensure effective information dissemination. Proposal Reviews & Reporting: Oversee the review process for proposals, ensuring adherence to established criteria. Submit required documentation and reports to the NIBIB program staff for review and approval. Advisory Board Management: Establish and manage the HUB advisory board. Schedule and facilitate board meetings, ensuring productive discussions and outcomes. Mentorship & Collaboration: Facilitate connections between PIs and mentors across institutions. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among PIs. Conference/Meeting Participation: Attend relevant conferences and meetings to represent HUB and stay updated on industry trends and standards. Direct Supervision: Supervise the HUB Administrative Assistant, ensuring productive contributions and professional growth. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree. A total of three (3) years (36 months) financial management skills, including prior experience with financial account management and budget oversight, coordination and administration of funding opportunities.
