We are seeking experienced candidates with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently to conduct investigations, analyze suspicious transactions for the position of Senior Risk and Quality Control Analyst, based in Chantilly, VA.
This role is responsible for performing timely reviews of specific enterprise business activities to ensure that policies and procedures are followed. This role also fosters a culture of quality by measuring, evaluating, and assessing activities related to fraud risk, Bank Secrecy Action (BSA) risk, and data quality and providing support to business units for accurate and consistent operational output.

This role also fosters a culture of quality by measuring, evaluating, and assessing activities related to fraud risk, Bank Secrecy Action (BSA) risk, and data quality and providing support to business units for accurate and consistent operational output.
Key Job Functions:
- Reviews and manages risk-related to fraud, BSA, and quality control through use of automated fraud detection alerts, reports, and manual reviews of transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identifies risks and problem areas and recommends policies and procedures to correct deficiencies and improve performance.
- Conducts monitoring, review, analysis, and research of automated fraud detection alerts to identify activity and patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior.
- Conducts suspicious activity report investigations recommending when to file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Ensures operating policies and procedures meet established objectives for accuracy, service quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors. Experience as a substitution for a degree may be considered.
- Three to five years of similar or related experience including a combination of BSA, anti-money laundering and fraud related work experience.
- Fraud or compliance certifications are a plus.
