The Director of Project Management will work alongside all new and developing restaurants and concepts to lead the project management process and ensure that progress is continuously made. The Director of Project Management will also act as the liaison and communicate any day-to-day events, deadlines, and projected opening dates to all departments. S/he will work closely with staff throughout the organization while ensuring deadlines are efficiently and consistently met.

Responsibilities include:
- Project initiation, including requirements gathering, scope definition and project plan creation and maintenance
- Delivery and day-to-day control of the project, overseeing and facilitating project work across a variety of teams
- Identify, manage, and monitor project issues and risks, resolving or escalating in a timely manner
- Gather and report project status regularly across teams and stakeholders
- Establish project protocols and ensure project artifacts are centralized and up-to-date
- Ensure that meetings, discussions, outcomes, and next steps are documented
- Contribute to process improvements and project management best practices
- Demonstrate end-to-end project management experience from initiation through launch and closure
- Travel outside of New York required
Skills & Requirements
- BA Degree required (Business preferred)
- 4+ years of project management experience required
- Restaurant construction, design and build out experience required
- Proven understanding of project management principles and methodologies required
- Ability to manage project components across a variety of functional areas a must
- Exceptional organizational, research, information/data gathering, and facilitation skills
- Attention to detail and capacity to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- A collaborative work approach and a strong work ethic
