Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst with expertise in Incident Response to join our dynamic team. As a Security Analyst, you'll be on the front lines of our organization's cybersecurity defense, working to protect our information systems and data from malicious attackers. You'll use your expertise to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to prevent security incidents. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents, as well as developing and implementing strategies to prevent future incidents.

Salary Information
This position is in schedule-range (07-33) with an annual salary of $72,800 - $104,000 (or $35 - $50 per hour), plus excellent benefits . A twelve-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

- Experience performing IT security incident response activities.
- Experience working in one or more of the following areas: network security, web application security, and/or operating system security.
- Hands-on work experience utilizing security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and/or vulnerability scanners.
- Possession of relevant security certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent.
- Experience working with cloud security and/or DevSecOps security practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
