We are seeking a highly motivated and experiened Program Manager to lead a new Navy Ship Control System (SCS) contract in our growing Integrated Products Division. As the DDG-51 Class SCS Program Manager for Hexagon US Federal, you will lead this Navy initiative with the mission to develop, fabricate, assemble, and test a new SCS for the DDG-51 Class to meet Navy performance standards. The PM will manage a small but dynamic team to support a variety of design and integration task orders under this new contract. This is a dynamic opportunity in which a talented leader with engineering and integration program management experience has the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the next generation naval fleet.
This job is for you if you are:
Able to lead full the lifecycle of Program Management tasks from initiation of this new contract to production, testing, and delivery of the SCS hardware. The PM must be able to:
Resolve a diverse range of complex problems across the program
Control budgets for labor, material, travel and purchased services
Manage schedules and work breakdown structures
Manage technical, schedule, and financial risks
Manage engineering and production competency focused teams
Coordinate with NAVSEA and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have previously served as Program Manager with proven experience and a minimum of ten years managing hardware system design and production programs for the U.S. Navy including design, documentation, product improvement, lifecycle support, obsolescence management, and configuration control.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing hardware system design and production programs for the U.S. Navy
- Experience with product lifecycle management
- Experience with tools for controlling costs, planning and scheduling including work breakdown structures and graphical representation of activities against time
- Experience with database-centric applications for configuration management such as IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred)
