Be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software functions. You will be instrumental in helping the team supporting Next Generation Avionics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Platform software including low-level I/O, drivers, board support package (BSP), UART interfaces, and more.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years safety critical avionics software development experience
- Experience developing software in accordance with DO-178
- Proficiency in C++ programming languages
- Experience developing software/hardware interfaces including low-level I/O, drivers, and UART interfaces
- Experience developing Board Support Package (BSP) software
- Experience developing Software for Multi-core products
- experience developing Object-oriented Software
- Experience with DOORS
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Git and Bitbucket
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done
- Good positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with remote team members
HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with DOORS NG
- Experience developing model-based software in accordance with DO-331
- ARINC 653 RTOS experience
- Agile software development experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Integrated Modular Avionics, FMS, Flight Systems, or Flight Controls product experience
- Software requirements development experience
