The Senior Systems Analyst provides proactive and ongoing maintenance, support, and optimization of critical systems and applications. The Sr. Systems Analyst maintains a strong understanding of related business processes and acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams and platforms to ensure alignment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent education/professional work experience and certifications
- 5+ years of experience in information technology or financial applications with the ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
- Extensive knowledge of banking/financial systems and applications
- Proven ability to manage technical solutions and maintain supporting documentation
- Demonstrated expertise with Windows-based server and application administration, troubleshooting, and tuning
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and complete work to meet deadlines
- Technical problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Excellent communications and customer service skills (written, verbal, presentation) with experience presenting to non-technical staff
- Ability to design high availability environments for business applications and processes
- Experience with API integrations and data exchange formats (e.g., XML, JSON, EDI)
- Capable of developing disaster recovery and validation plans
- Strong knowledge of risk and controls as they apply to production systems and applications
- Analytical and problem resolution skills and experience with enterprise incident and problem management
- Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Implement and maintain enterprise business solutions that meet current and future business objectives
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems and application software
- Manage and monitor all installed assigned systems and infrastructure solutions
- Provide training and documentation to supporting technical staff and users
- Work independently and as part of a team on enterprise projects and team assignments
- Proactively improve effectiveness of business applications by gathering information, evaluating operations, providing recommendations, and planning improvements
- Ensure business requirements for applications are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and guidelines
- Work with vendors, bank infrastructure and information security teams to ensure applications meet reliability and security requirements
- Plan, test, and implement application upgrades to keep application versions updated to align with the company's risk appetite and availability requirements
- Understand and maintain integrations between the supported systems and various SaaS products
- Produce and maintain technical documentation such as solution designs, data flows, integrations, and other supporting materials
- Demonstrate commitment to meet deadlines and priorities, understanding that overtime and after-hours/weekend work may be periodically required to complete the projects and initiatives assigned to the department
- Participate with periodic testing and implementation of contingency plans to ensure availability of applications in case of system failure
- Manage vendors when necessary to evaluate and implement new technologies or applications
- Insure adherence to proper change management controls and processes as well as the associated documentation for compliance and regulatory purposes
