HPC - Software Integration Engineer - Linux, Scripting, Deploying

Description
The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the automation, integration, verification,
validation, and system testing of various COTS, FOSS, and GOTS packages, libraries and software
products for the next-generation HPCs and SPDs.

Requirements
A current Top-Secret/SCI with FS polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
OR
The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work
that can be substituted for a degree and have at least ten (10) years of demonstrable
experience.
OR
An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute
as one (1) year experience.
OR
A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.

Required skills:

• Proficient using the Linux CLI and tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python to automate processes
• Experience authoring documentation for reporting integration results to relevant stakeholders
• Experience with coordinating, setup, and resolution of deployment activities in designated environments
• General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation technologies including Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI, and Jenkins for automating software integration, testing, and deployment pipelines
• Experience with branching, merging, and managing code repositories using Git Source Control System

Desired skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana) to detect,
  troubleshoot, and resolve issues
