Saturna Capital is seeking an Equity Analyst Generalist to join its investment team. This individual will report to the Director of Research and will be responsible for providing detailed fundamental analysis of domestic and international companies across the firm's equity strategies. The position offers career advancement opportunities and progressively greater responsibility for the right individual. Founded in 1989, Saturna Capital is a bottom-up, fundamental research-oriented investment management firm. It is advisor to twelve mutual funds and a variety of private client investment accounts, with assets under management of over $8 billion.
Location: Bellingham, WA (Onsite, Hybrid)
Compensation range: $118,000 - $125,000 base (DOE)
Full range (with tenure): $118,000 - $168,000 annual base wage

Compensation range: $118,000 - $125,000 base (DOE)
Full range (with tenure): $118,000 - $168,000 annual base wage
Primary duties include:
- Generate high conviction, differentiated, actionable investment recommendations
- Perform deep-dive, intensive research analysis to develop long-term investment theses
- Publish company reports to keep the team abreast on material developments
- Construct and maintain detailed financial models on existing and prospective investments
- Regularly present recommendations to the investment committee and portfolio managers
- Incorporate sustainability/ESG evaluation into fundamental analysis
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- CFA Charterholder, or actively working towards designation
- Minimum 3-5 years of fundamental equity research experience with progressively higher levels of responsibility and a demonstrable track record of success
- Appropriate FINRA registrations within first year of employment (SIE, 7 and 66)
