Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering for Fuel Injection and Ignition to lead the development of our industry-leading fuel injection and ignition products under the Holley and MSD brands, reporting to the SVP, Euro, Electrical Engineering. This role will encompass everything from enthusiast DIY installation of basic fuel injection systems to serving professional racers and car builders at the forefront of cutting-edge innovation in the performance aftermarket. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of engineering leadership experience in tier 1 or OEM engineering and be hands-on in their approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Steer the development and innovation of fuel injection and ignition products for both Holley and MSD brands.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring high-quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to drive product development and market success.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with customers, industry professionals, and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for product enhancement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure our products remain at the cutting edge.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of engineering leadership experience in automotive Tier 1 or OEM engineering.
  • Proven track record of hands-on experience in fuel injection and ignition systems development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.


Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with both DIY and professional-grade automotive products.
  • Knowledge of the latest advancements in fuel injection and ignition technologies.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry regulations and standards.
