UP.Labs is seeking a proven Head of Operations with a track record in 0>1 environments to join a stealth ML-based SaaS intelligent sales enablement startup rapidly scaling within our portfolio. This Stealth AI Enablement business is poised to ignite an evolution in human performance for a large and underserved market, has initial customers in place, and is ready to scale As our Head of operations within this portfolio organization, you'll provide leadership, direction and management across business support functions within the company. You will create and implement a proactive overall strategy for operational excellence in supporting the business growth. You'll also manage all day-to-day teams and vendors that support the business strategy and operations.

This Stealth AI Enablement business is poised to ignite an evolution in human performance for a large and underserved market, has initial customers in place, and is ready to scale As our Head of operations within this portfolio organization, you'll provide leadership, direction and management across business support functions within the company. You will create and implement a proactive overall strategy for operational excellence in supporting the business growth. You'll also manage all day-to-day teams and vendors that support the business strategy and operations.
In this role you will:
- Building and overseeing operations at the company, leading with a hands-on approach to building processes, playbooks, goals, and setting expectations with internal teams, customers, investors, and UP.Labs.
- Lead teams and/or work with vendors across HR, Legal, Finance and Client Success.
- Establish key performance indicators for outcomes while also defining the business model and case for new products and services
- Build and maintain internal systems and processes within the company using tools like Zapier and Notion, and implement common productivity tools.
The ideal person would have:
- Success building operational infrastructure of a business in a high-growth environment with an ability to be hands-on while allocating resources appropriately.
- Reputation as a well-rounded project manager with exceptional instincts; managing multiple internal and external teams.
- High EQ and low ego; you carry an executive presence regardless of years of experience.
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience working with customers and external stakeholders
- Experience building systems and processes from the ground up, specifically around finance, HR, marketing, and operations.
You should have:
- 3-5+ years of experience with strategy development, business planning and future visioning, as well as quantitative and economic/financial modeling (preferred)
- Background in product, marketing or operations
- Master's degree (postgraduate, MBA) or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in a high-pressure tech environment with exposure to multidisciplinary teams and/or involvement with a top-tier consulting firm
- Consumer retail or sales intelligence background a plus
