Summary:
Native American Connections (NAC) is looking for a dedicated professional to serve in the position of Senior Director of Residential Services. The ideal candidate for the position must be aligned with the NAC's environment and culture and focus on fulfilling the NAC's mission, vision, and values. The Senior Director of Residential Services is responsible for the daily oversight of the clinical and business operations of the Behavioral Health Residential Facilities and Sober Living Home. The Senior Director of Residential Services also manages contracts, partnerships, and MOUs that directly impact the daily functioning of the site. The Senior Director of Residential Services manages the sites in a manner consistent with NAC's mission and philosophy and ensures excellent client care and satisfaction. The successful candidate should have a working knowledge of and experience in residential substance use treatment, be driven to succeed, be able to handle multi-priorities; manage the stress of multiple, concurrent demands; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be able to skillfully engage others; and a good steward of the organization's culture and strong community history.
Duties:
Experience collaborating with executive leadership, playing a key role in the overall development, strategic planning, service delivery, and management of assigned service lines. Experience working effectively with medical and behavioral health staff and providers to design state-of-the-art substance-use residential service delivery models. Ability to innovate with respect to service delivery including the use of alternative approaches. Competence in designing workflows for all assigned service lines to ensure maximum efficiency and billable opportunities as well as ease of access to services for all especially priority populations. Ability to collaborate with the Finance/Billing department on revenue generation, authorizations, contracts, and budget management. Responsible for the implementation and full day to day operations of residential services including patient flow, process improvement, program development and administrative supervision of staff. Ability to oversee quality management/medical records; staff training and development as it relates to integrated health services. Ability to represent NAC and acts as liaison to stakeholders such as Phoenix Area Indian Health Services regarding Urban Indian Organizations (UIO) status, AHCCCS and other third-party payors regarding contracting and reimbursement and other funding sources regarding compliance and meeting deliverables. Ability to represent NAC at the local, tribal, and federal levels by attending networking and educational opportunities and promoting the positive reputation of the organization. Experience overseeing grant-funded clinical initiatives and ensuring quality delivery of services, and appropriate and timely reporting. Knowledge of marketing activities that ensure capacity is met and expanded. Facilitation of agency-wide communication and updates on current public health initiatives. Deploys resources efficiently and effectively toward organizational goals, working with staff to recruit and retain highly qualified staff, balance workload and effort, and provide ongoing feedback so that staff can continuously improve their supervision and mentoring skills. Ability to collaborate with Clinical Directors to review agency-wide clinical training initiatives to identify opportunities to improve clinical effectiveness, clinical practice, and standards, and enhance quality and safety outcomes. Competence providing administrative and clinical leadership
Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience as a senior healthcare leader. Must possess a master's degree preferably in counseling, social work or related field.
