MISSON:
Quantum Research is seeking a skilled Microsoft Power BI Developer to join our team at the National Cyber Operations Center (NCSOC) in support of U.S. Army and supporting agencies contractual requirements. A Power BI developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions that transform open-source, publicly available government and corporate data into metrics-based meaningful insights. The candidate will also be responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable data for analyst's decision-making. The role involves working closely with business analysts, open-source intelligence (OSINT) data analysts, supply chain risk management (SCRM) analysts, and other stakeholders to understand government and business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet NCSOC government contractual requirements.
- Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models within Power BI to ensure efficient performance and scalability.
- Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various open-sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with government and corporate stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, define scope, and provide expertise on best practices for data visualization.
- Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis to support decision-making, visualize trends and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to government and business clients. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with NCSOC objectives.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI tools effectively.
- Documentation: Document report specifications, data models, and processes for continuity, future reference, and training purposes. Build Power BI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) capturing best practices and processes.
- Security: Implement and maintain data security within Power BI, ensuring that sensitive government and client data is protected.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related fields, with at least one year of experience specifically in Power BI development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced analytics and data science techniques.
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI or related Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum).
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
- Familiarity with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory)
