Summary
As a Data Architect at Armor, you will design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines to support AI integration across the business. You will optimize data systems for large-scale datasets, ensure data quality, and drive predictive analytics through data harmonization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll deliver solutions that meet business needs, while developing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure security and compliance. You'll also handle ad hoc data requests to support key decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Build a Data Governance model for implementation of AI across business
- Design and develop robust data architectures and data pipelines to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to build scalable and reliable data infrastructure.
- Design data harmonization structures to leverage full power of data to drive predictive analytics
- Optimize and maintain data engineering systems to handle large-scale data sets efficiently, and ensure the data availability and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and practices to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform Ad Hoc data requests for business users and Executive management as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 6+ years' experience of IT Development with advanced experience working on Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, SSIS, SQL SERVER, Power Automate, and Python
- 6+ years' experience in relational database, data warehouse, data modelling (star schema and snowflake)
- Experience in deveoping & implementing data governace structure
- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
- Experience with Data Lakes, Lake Houses, Azure function, and Azure Data Flow
- Experience with Azure Purview for data governance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience leading a team of more junior employees providing guidance and expertise to help them learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
