The Director of Enrollment Operations is responsible for the efficient use of technology within the University's Enrollment Management Division and the admissions processing center. Acts as the primary admissions contact for the Registrar's Office as well as Information Technology staff with regards to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Ellucian Colleague and Enrollment Marketing Platform (EMP) system technology, training and procedural documentation within the unit. Oversee a variety of database-related projects and office procedures/functions.

Responsibilities
  • Initiates and coordinates projects related to the Ellucian Colleague and Liaison EMP systems used by the Enrollment Management unit including training, documentation of policies and procedures, troubleshooting, system upgrades and enhancements, etc.
  • Assists with external reporting to include, but not limited to, IPEDS and other federal reports, MICUA/MHEC and other state reports, external surveys and NCAA reports; as well as select internal campus-wide reporting and data requests.
  • Assists with essential database-related cyclical, statistical and data critical projects and reporting.
  • Oversees the day to day activities of the admissions processing center and provides leadership for use of technology (Liaison EMP, Ellucian Colleague, document imaging, workflow, etc.).
  • Serves as the point person for the IT staff and works closely with their team on admissions technology enhancements.
  • Works on various long-term technology projects as assigned.
  • Maintain up-to-date operational policies, procedures, and practices for the admissions processing center in alignment with current and emerging industry best practices.
  • Works with vendors to set up all data transfers to and from CRM, as well as all yearly set ups of outside platforms for data including but not limited to: CAS platforms, Common App, and College Board.
  • Assure policies, procedures, and practices are in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, and the University's goals and objectives.
  • Serve on various internal committees, taskforces, workgroups, etc. as designated.
  • Performs such similar, comparable or related duties as may be assigned or required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of five years of experience in database management and working knowledge of large-scale, multivariate databases. Experience in use of an ERP, EMP/CRM, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.) is required. Previous supervisory experience, and Liaison EMP and Ellucian Colleague ERP experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates must be analytical, accurate and detail oriented; and must be able to learn the university's admissions software at an "expert" level. Must be able to understand and work within legal guidelines governing release of confidential information. Excellent oral and written communications skills required. Candidates must possess an ability to organize and prioritize work effectively with other members of the team and the college community. Must have a quality service orientation and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
