The Senior Vice President of Growth & Development is responsible for driving the strategic expansion and evolution of the organization. This role manages all aspects of sales, marketing, and development, including the creation and execution of innovative growth strategies, leading the sales/marketing team, and establishing strategic partnerships. The SVP plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's future direction, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement growth strategies to identify new markets and drive expansion.

2. Oversee all sales and marketing activities, ensuring the achievement of quotas and the use of innovative strategies.

3. Monitor and adjust monthly sales goals based on current performance.

4. Monitor the performance of the sales team and take corrective action plans as needed.

5. Manage and develop the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

6. Establish strategic partnerships and negotiate contracts with various payers.

7. Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.

8. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies. We might need to be more specific.

9. Manage the sales and marketing budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.

10. Maintain regular communication with top management, providing updates on growth initiatives.

11. Collaborate with senior leaders to align growth strategies with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications

1. Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, with experience in directing strategic initiatives and driving growth.

2. Business Development Expertise: Demonstrated success in generating new business, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence within the healthcare sector.

3. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare, or a related field preferred. An advanced degree or additional certification in business development or healthcare management are a plus.

4. Industry Knowledge: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, with the last 3-5 years in a senior leadership role within the hospice or healthcare industry. Familiarity with CRM platforms and data-driven decision-making processes.

5. Skill Set: Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, and time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, clients, and partners.

6. Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel over 20% of the time to support business development and partnership efforts.

7. Compliance & Regulatory Understanding: In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to hospice care and healthcare services.
