Sr. Project Manager (Insurance background is a must) | Hybrid (Local to Chicago) | C2C/W2

Profile:

- managed software implementations (ideally Origami)

- managed third-party vendor relationships (i.e. teams)

- give progress/status reports to senior-level leadership for high visibility projects

- can find, track, reduce risks and dependencies

- in the insurance industry (ideally Workers Comp)

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management experience, including familiarity managing projects with Waterfall and Agile principles
• Expertise managing plans and teams from initiation through delivery on software implementation projects
  • Prior experience managing Origami SaaS implementations is preferred
• Experience presenting progress/status reports on high-visibility projects to executive leadership
• Background identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks
• Insurance industry experience, ideally in Workers Compensation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word) and MS Project
• Strong communication skills and executive presence
• Problem-solving, "can do" approach
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar area of study
