Senior Manager - Program Management

Position Overview:

We're looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team and contribute to driving complex, high-impact programs that align with our corporate vision. The Senior Program Manager will play a crucial role in managing and delivering strategic programs across the organization. This individual will drive cross-functional teams, oversee program life cycles, and ensure the alignment of multiple projects with the overall business strategy. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met, risks are mitigated, and resources are optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Leadership: Lead and manage large-scale, complex programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments including product, engineering, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless coordination and program success.
• Strategic Planning: Define program objectives, key milestones, and success metrics, and align resources to ensure effective execution.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain program health and timelines.
• Resource Optimization: Manage program resources, including budget, personnel, and technology, ensuring efficient use and allocation across all projects.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates on program status, performance, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders through detailed reports and dashboards.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve program management practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure efficient delivery of programs.
• Mentorship: Mentor and coach project managers and other team members on best practices in program management and Arcserve's strategic priorities.
• Customer Focus: Ensure that program outcomes align with customer needs and company goals, fostering a strong customer-centric mindset in all activities.
• Agile Execution: Apply agile principles to improve program efficiency, streamline workflows, and adapt to changing business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic role.
• Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional programs within technology, SaaS, or data protection industries.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence) and collaboration platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
