The purpose of this position is to manage all aspects of the assigned Sales locations to achieve optimum performance. This position will be responsible for oversite of multiple sale regions, national accounts, and inside sales. Sales management oversight, reporting, performance review, and development of personnel is required. In depth experience in equipment leasing industry, ocean carriers, and people management skills is a requisite.

Essential Functions
- In collaboration with President of Chassis, develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth, generate revenue, and achieve company objectives.
- Lead large, dynamic sales team including attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Provide leadership to the sales management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and high-performance.
- Develop and implement annual business plans. This requires managing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
- Establish clear sales metrics with benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus.
- Define and oversee sales incentive programs ensuring they drive behaviors necessary to meet company and individual goals.
- Maintain/adjust account assignments and territories to drive company goals rewarding performance.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities where necessary.
- Hire and manage the national account managers, regional sales managers, account executives and inside sales associates assigned within the assigned area.
- Analyze weekly and monthly reports for sales personnel within the assigned area to ensure they are meeting/exceeding plan. Provide direction and guidance for any course correction necessary.
- Approve rental, lease pricing, and customer credits, in accordance with assigned authority levels provided by the President.
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned. (Other responsibilities is defined as temporary tasks that assist in the success, maintenance, or safety of the staff and facilities)
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years progressively responsible experience leading the strategy and execution of company-wide sales initiatives or business development
- 5+ years' experience growing, managing, and scaling sales teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
- Outstanding track record of meeting and/or exceeding revenue growth goals
- Must have the ability and willingness to travel.
- Flexible to work in an interactive environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity and change
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and company CRM solution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional image.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
