Summary
This position is primarily a candidate to support the CoreWorx solutions. Coreworx provides project information management solutions for complex engineering and construction projects, including the industry's leading interface management solution, document control, collaboration, contract management, and project change request solutions. Coreworx proven solutions are used around the globe by top EPC and owner organizations to automate best practices, mitigate business risk, and improve performance to budget throughout the entire project life cycle.
The candidate will be performing systems analysis, design, configuration, documentation, testing, or modification of computer software systems and/or programs. The candidate exercises discretion and judgment ensuring the business objective are met.
This is a fully remote position but our targeting Atlanta-Greenville-Charlotte surrounding geographical area.
Scope
This position supports and manage Fluor Mission Solution's Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to manage electronic information, records capture, and retention management. The job will work as part of the internal Fluor Mission Solution IT Application Support Team.
This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of many custom developed solutions for the DDM business line. This includes reporting systems, upgrades, patching, installations, debugging issues, working with end users to implement solutions and address issues.
This position collaborates with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and company management to drive for results. This role supports IT projects and home office Applications.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes as well as required documentation, for the timely coordination and completion of project tasks
Translate customer and business requirements into practical and affordable solutions
Coordinate, direct, and lead project status meetings
Ensure that project deliverables and schedules are met by assigned technical resources
Manage escalation to the appropriate IT resource management when needed
Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impacts, and solution development discussions to optimize end-to-end solutions
Leverage outside vendors, contactors, technical teams, and other departments to drive for results
Support business solutions, and investigate operational problems and system requirements
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
10% travel required attending in person business related matters
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Generally favorable indoor office workspace, and/or;
Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited degree or global equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience in computer systems or Information Technology (IT) support, with technical proficiency in operating systems and programming languages
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical, technical, planning, and organizational skills

Complete technical service requests and provide continuous business application support for enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and legacy systems
Help to define, analyze, develop, implement, and document new systems, customized programs, and databases to meet business needs
Help to upgrade and implement EDMS software
Assist application owners in the development of test scripts, policies, and procedures
Customer Engagement
Business analysis and project management experience preferred
Ability to understand the business requirements and convert them into documented requirements leading to solution designs
Experience managing expectations when balancing business requirements, technical capabilities and value to the corporation
Working awareness of IT environments including infrastructure and development languages/tools
Understand customer requests, provide guidance with documenting requirements (Business, Functional Design and Testing) and gain customer approval for development activity
Demonstrated business domain knowledge to ensure alignment of solutions to needs and requirements with IT and business strategies
Comfortable communicating technical concepts to business process owners, peers, and subordinates
Enterprise Architecture
Maintain application roadmaps (versions, end of life, etc.)
Create and distribute enterprise architecture diagrams and metrics reports, and maintain IT Architecture knowledge objects
Prepare and maintain schedules for status activities in IT enterprise architecture group
Recommend system changes and enhancements
Conduct risk assessments of proposed IT solutions (as part of the IT governance process)
Quality Assurance (QA) Testing
Develop and design clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases specific for different computer software programs
Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups
Manage software beta test programs
Apply knowledge of methods, QA tools, and processes used in quality assurance of software programs
Document test results

Provide support, maintenance, enhancements, new release implementation, and new development for the Fluor
Application Implementation
Perform analysis, design, programming, and testing of new custom development
Conduct impact analysis of proposed system changes and new application releases
