Summary of Role:

The overall purpose of this position is to deliver parts and accessories revenue and profit targets in line with the overall company business plan, while executing MMNA's One Team business philosophy. The individual will be tasked with improving standards and procedures throughout the parts organization and will need to be a motivational and influential leader as he/she needs to affect change at all levels of the organization from corporate office management down to the Parts Distribution Center operations

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to the Aftersales organization and counsel to the regional managers in achieving the organizational, regional and personnel objectives
  • Develop both dealer and regional field sales targets and objectives relating to Aftersales and ensure those targets are achieved
  • Work in collaboration with the Aftersales Business Development department to ensure that retail and wholesale promotional programs at both the National and Regional levels will properly support P&A sales
  • Oversee the continued growth of consumer targeted programs including but not limited to, Value Line Parts, and both Port and Dealer installed Accessories Programs
  • Develop and manage annual parts department budget, internal sales, and export sales plans. Coordinate with parent company in Japan for unification of common goals.
  • Oversee inventory planning strategies to ensure achievement of dealer order fill rates, months of supply, and inventory level targets.
  • Oversee parts logistics strategies and ensure cost effective partnerships with carriers are in place for optimum / quality deliveries to MMNA dealers, PDC's and Ports.
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of export parts shipments. Coordinate with internal parts department teams to achieve targets for export order fill rate and high levels of shipping accuracy. Ensure compliance with all export requirements with a strong focus on maintaining C-TPAT customs certification level.
  • Oversee parts pricing strategies to ensure competitive price position within the automotive industry. Develop competitive and captive pricing strategies using benchmark data to position the Mitsubishi brand with competitive and fair prices when evaluated among competitors.
  • Oversee MMNA Parts Distribution Centers. Ensure achievement of quality and through-put goals to ensure operational efficiency and dealer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Qualifications:
  • 15- 20 years of Aftersales management experience within an automotive company, ideally in the spare parts/accessories area.
  • Inventory management, logistics and/or parts distribution experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work within a matrix organizational structure and act as a respected motivator and influencer to accomplish changes within the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic growth plan and then executing to hit targets.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines while delivering quality results

Pay Transparency:

The base salary for this position ranges between $180,00 to $220,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
