Director of Nursing Clinical Operations
The Director of Nursing Clinical Operations leads and directs operations and nursing practice; is accountable for human and materials resource management, development and evaluation of standards via a comprehensive quality improvement program. Participates collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of hospital/ nursing policies and procedures.
The Director of Nursing Clinical Operations is responsible for:
Position Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing.
Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
Specialized Knowledge:
Experience with psychiatric and substance abuse disorder patient populations
Experience in management of quality, safety, infection control and/or development of evidence-based practice
Experience in a hospital setting preferred
Experience in research preferred
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse
At least 5 years of experience in Nursing Operations

Director of Nursing Clinical Operations
The Director of Nursing Clinical Operations leads and directs operations and nursing practice; is accountable for human and materials resource management, development and evaluation of standards via a comprehensive quality improvement program. Participates collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of hospital/ nursing policies and procedures.
The Director of Nursing Clinical Operations is responsible for:
- Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating nursing services.
- Provide clinical and operational oversight to nursing staff.
- Support hospital risk mitigation and documentation processes.
- Participate in committees and contribute to policy decisions.
- Assist with nursing education and staff development.
- Manage staffing, budget, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Promote a professional practice environment and interdisciplinary relationships.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and patient advocacy.
- Represent Nursing and administration on committees, share expertise, and facilitate ongoing professional development.
Position Requirements:
