Agile Coach Job Description
Beast Code is seeking an Agile Coach to join our family as a great facilitator who ensures success for our software development teams. Like an air traffic controller, the Agile Coach does not make the rules, but applies those rules in a manner that moves things along in a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow.
We're looking for someone who is big on organization and teamwork - a difference-maker who supports and guides the company's project teams to high levels of performance and quality. The Agile Coach optimizes focus within each team, manages impediments, and facilitates cooperation between multiple teams with dependencies.
Our Agile Coaches are problem solvers who enjoy developing real-world solutions for real-world issues.

Agile Coach I
Work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Typically requires 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Agile Coach II
Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
Agile Coach III
Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Typically requires 4-7 years of related experience.
Agile Coach IV
Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role of the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.

Agile Coach typically fulfills the following responsibilities:
- Mentoring and facilitating teams on agile methodologies and best practices
- Monitoring team progress and recommend adjustments to agile practices
- Assisting in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
- Facilitating periodic synchronization events
As an Agile Coach, a typical day may include the following:
- Assisting with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and where necessary
- Coaching leaders and teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
- Help managing risks and dependencies
- Escalating and tracking impediments
- Providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
- Encouraging collaboration between teams Architects/Engineering
This job might be for you if you enjoy:
- Working with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Helping drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle
- Working with the Program Manager Office (PMO) on program execution and operational excellence (Lean Portfolio Management)
- Driving relentless improvement; assessing the agility level of the team and helping them improve
- Analyzing metrics and recommend new solutions to increase the value and velocity of teams
- Researching and developing new techniques to make backlog management more effective
- Keeping current with Agile industry standards and trends; then using that to promote change that increases Agile Team productivity

- Experience managing multiple software development teams simultaneously

- Due to the nature of our work, it is mandatory that you are a U.S. Citizen and able to comply with Government regulations.
- Successfully complete background check and maintain a valid USA driver's license
