The Distribution Center Fulfillment Manager is responsible for leading the operations of the company's fulfillment center, which is located at its Distribution Center in Leominster, MA. Annual fulfillment center sales are $10 million and growing. The Fulfillment Center Manager leads and empowers a diverse group of individual contributors and hourly leaders to execute all eCommerce fulfillment processes to provide a superior online customer experience. The ideal candidate for this position has a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. This candidate leads their team with compassion, identifies future talent and associates with potential, and is a supportive business partner to peers and other leaders in the business. This is an on-site position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a TPS brand ambassador
- Contribute to The Paper Store's commitment to providing a positive associate culture
- Be a role model for associates to be accountable to The Paper Store's policies and procedures
- Lead up to fifty direct reports, depending on the time of year and eCommerce orders projections
- Create processes, associate education and training, and regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy
- Manage all operations of the company's eCommerce fulfillment center to ensure all customers orders are accurate, packaged correctly, and delivered on time
- Use order management systems to review and assign workload, manage production expectations, set goals, troubleshoot issues and train hourly leaders to do the same
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve fulfillment processes that improve department efficiency and performance
- Manage and optimize the warehouse space used for storage, picking, and packing of orders
- Partner with, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners such as peers, senior leaders, members of the corporate eCommerce team, delivery carriers, and vendors
- Inventory Management by tracking stock levels and making sure high turn items are easy to access
- Analyze online order projections and work with the Distribution Center Director to determine future staffing needs. Including interviews, hiring candidates, and oversight to training
- Maintain a safe department cleanliness and organization
- All other duties as assigned by senior leaders
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of leading an eCommerce fulfillment center organization
- Have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
- Strong commitment to working collaboratively with all levels within an organization
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Sound judgement, with demonstrated ability to make decisions in the best interest of all parties
- Proven ability to assess and develop the talent and potential of associates and department leaders
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Computer and database application skills, including Microsoft 365 and Warehouse Management Systems; Aptos experience a plus
- Availability and willingness to work a flexible schedule around major holidays, including the months of September through December
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds while using appropriate safety techniques
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Ability to commute to the Leominster, MA Distribution Center for every scheduled shift.
