Job Description
- Manage the local audit schedule and internal auditing team, including customer and compliance agency audits.
- Includes participation as an auditor and participation within our Global Team related to ISO 90012015, automotive IATF 16949, environmental ISO14001, cybersecurity ISO 21434, and related automotive standards like CQI-14.
- Customer interface follow-up regarding on-time responsiveness and quality of response with focus on major customer issued problem-solving requests.
- May require hands on failure analysis of product. Champion of customer supplier ratings on quality and delivery.
- Fluent in customer databases.
- Coordinate andor write local procedures to modifications as IATF 16949 OEM requirements change with Customer Specific Requirements and support transitions.
- Manage the local document control of policies and procedures.
- Create andor update checklists according to updates in standards, methods, processes, and tools, or newly introduced external standards requirements.
- Coordinate closure of Corrective Action Reports CARs8Ds created by the internal audit team, and customer returns.
- Coordinate the yearly external assessors audits in conjunction with other sites tied to specific certificates.
- Participate andor verify reviews according to the use of standards, methods, processes, and tools and enter findings in the appropriate tools.
- Perform project audits to a set of defined checklists and then Provide quality status for Toll-Gate meetings.
- Reportingescalation engineering quality status to management.
- Train project team members in quality methods and processes.
- Team member involved in problem-solving activities may lead this activity. Participate in global meetings to discuss status, updates, metrics, and lessons learned.
- Participate in the preparation, attendance, and follow-up to internal and external assessments. Other tasks duties supporting this role.
Skills Required
- BA Degree or equivalent in engineering or related STEM.
- Exp in coaching, mentoring, and running 6 sigma-based projects .
Skills Preferred
- Exp in Automotive Electronics and Optics preferred.
- Computer Skills PLM, MS Office, SharePoint Code Beamer, JDE.
- Trained in IATF 169492016 and ISO 90012015 with audit exp.
