SUMMARY
This individual will work very closely with the onsite property managers, evaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities for future profitability growth.
JOB DUTIES
Budget planning and analysis
Property variance analysis
Cash flow analysis
Overseeing performance of a regional portfolio of properties (2500 to 3500 units)
Respond to requests for information from the investors and capital clients
Preparing an annual operating plan which includes lease objectives for each property, operating and capital budgets
Assist Community Directors in evaluating and resolving operational issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance or Business with a minimum of 5 years' progressive experience as an asset manager in the multi-family sector.
Prior experience with distressed properties is a must.
Must be hands on and a strong communicator
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills
Practiced experience running distressed real estate
Fundamental knowledge of construction rehabs and working jobs
Principal experience in understanding all operating and financial statement review to optimize property operations
Sound communication and organization experience; the incumbent must be able to be make sound business decisions under a small company environment
