Marketing Communication and Social Media Manager
Cambridge, Ontario (Hybrid) one day in week onsite
Full-time


Need a real self-starter who doesn't need any hand-holding and can take projects and run with them.

What you'll do
  • You'll manage our website, social media presence, build our brand, create sales and marketing materials, direct/arrange videos, and create/manage our events
  • You'll create content that's engaging and share-worthy for our social channels, email marketing, website and sales materials
  • You'll engage with our experts by interviewing them over video and turning that video into small clips for social, audiograms, educational carousel posts, articles, and other consumable content
  • You'll design eye-catching, curated posts, stories, and other visual content.
  • You'll respond to all comments, direct messages, and reviews on all social platforms, acting as our brand's voice, as well as creating relationships with our clients and potential investors
  • You'll write on-brand communications including email marketing, blogs, guides, and more.
  • You'll plan manage and run our investor and educational events and meeting
  • You'll track all of your efforts with clear metrics, participate in weekly meetings, and work as part of a great team.

  • An interest in Real Estate investing. You understand the various investing options (and their Pros and Cons) to access Real Estate as an investment class.

Requirements of the role
Must haves:
  • Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, social media, event planning
  • Must be able to create content that is on-brand, aspirational, engaging, and adds value to our audience.
  • Be an effective copywriter of long-form and short-form content, including blogs, guides, post captions, marketing materials, and so forth.
  • Ability to absorb a wide range of data, test new concepts, and iterate marketing and sales assets to perform as effectively as possible.
  • A talent for graphic design, including a strong eye for brand consistency and a creative spark.
  • You are aware of influencer marketing and understand how to leverage influencers to promote brand awareness and partnerships.
  • Experience in the Wealth Management (ideally with a REIT) or Financial Services sector
  • Able to work independently and self-manage projects
  • Understand regulatory frameworks and compliance review & approval processes
  • Microsoft 365 and Sharepoint 360
  • Competency in marketing software, including social management tools (Vista Social), design software (Canva, Illustrator), video editors (InVideo, Wave Video), podcasting software (Riverside), short link tools (Bit.ly, Switchy), project management tools (ClickUp), HubSpot, Google Docs, and so forth.
